Wow! This extension is awesome! I had been using Dragon Naturally speaking for several years and it is so ridiculously outdated. Total worth getting the upgraded advanced features of Voice In. Voice In lets you use your voice to type on any website. Compared to speech-to-text software, like Dragon Dictation which cost $300 to $2500+, Voice In is afforable (free / $40 per year with Plus). Voice In works in the Chrome browser on all platforms including Mac, Windows, etc.
At this time, Voice In only works within the browser. Note for email, you can use in web email clients like Office 365, Google Workspace, etc.
By design, all of your audio is transcribed right in your browser. No audio dictated or audio transcript is ever sent to the Voice In servers. Here’s all the data we need in order to make Voice In work:

To manage your account, go to Account Settings.
To cancel your subscription, on the same page click on “Cancel Subscription” within your account profile. Follow the instructions and the subscription will be cancelled immediately afterward. If you cancel before the end of your subscription period, you will still be able to use your Voice In Plus account (up to the last day of the subscription).
